School Celebration

    At the end of October was the school celebration of CCU, and speaking of the school celebration, people must think of the well-known traditional events, which are the fireworks and the evening party as well as the karaoke competition.

 

I saw the magnificent fireworks last year, and I clearly remember that we were so close to the releasing location, so the fireworks were literally above us! So this year I was looking forward to taking part in it; however, due to the part time job, I thought I was unable to participate in the events this year.

 

To my surprise, the teacher in my cram school asked me if I could work earlier that day, so I asked her, “If so, can I leave earlier?” and it worked! Hence, I was able to take part in the event at last.

 
    On the day, we almost missed the fireworks, as we planned to buy something and bring them to the meadow, and it took us a little bit long waiting for the food.

 

Fortunately, the schedule was delayed for 10 minutes, so we caught up with the fireworks smoothly. But it was a pity that the spot where we stood was covered by a tree, so we could only see part of the scene.

 

Later, the evening party was about to start. And this time according to the pandemic, the party was held in the auditorium which can contain only 250 people. As a result, we had to arrive at the building and line up as soon as the fireworks finished.

 

We found out that everyone started running when we were walking halfway, so we did the same thing, which was kind of funny to see many people running in the campus at the same time.
   

                                               

 

                                              We entered the building finally. Through the two-hour                                                      show, we watched the performance of the competitors                                                        and three celebrities. To be honest, some of the                                                                    performances were disaster. Such as the pitch didn’t meet                                                  the song at all, as well as some hilarious performance and                                                  emergencies. For better or for worse, the whole party was                                                    pretty good and satisfying!

 

 

    After that, the adventure was not over. We even decided to go to Yun-Lin to have a late-night meal after we went home respectively and had a shower. We spent forty minutes forth and back at the cool night and came back home at 3 P.M.

   

    After a long day, I could finally lay on my bed and had a comfortable sleep with satisfaction.
